Explore the Scenic Ringle Segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail!

Join friends, family, and many other Trail enthusiasts for a great time exploring the Ringle Segment. Enjoy a gold-colored forest—fall colors at their finest—with this woodland walk along Green Bay Lobe’s terminal moraine. Experience winding boardwalks, small kettle ponds, and an impressively large glacial erratic known as the “stone lion.”

For a donation of $25.00 (or more!), you get:

Where: Hike-a-Thon headquarters–Community room, Hatley Branch of the Marathon County Public Library, 435 Curtis Avenue (County Y), Hatley, Wis.

  • 8.5-mile hike from Helf Road to hike-a-thon headquarters with 8:45 a.m. bus departure*
  • 8.5-mile hike from Helf Rd to hike-a-thon headquarters with 10:00 a.m. bus departure*
  • 6.25-mile hike from Hoot Owl Rd to hike-a-thon headquarters with 8:45 a.m. bus departure*
  • 6.25-mile hike from Hoot Owl to hike-a-thon headquarters with 10:00 a.m. bus departure time*
  • 3.4-mile hike from Poplar Lane to hike-a-thon headquarters with check-in and volunteer car shuttle anytime between 8:00 a.m. and noon.
  • 1.7-mile hike from Poplar Lane to Duncan Road with check-in and volunteer car shuttle anytime between 8:00 a.m. and noon. (A car shuttle from Duncan Road will be provided when hiker makes request at Duncan Road checkpoint.)

$25.00, a minimum suggested donation for Alliance members, (a tax-deductible gift) per adult participant, or collect a minimum donation of $25 through pledges. (Alliance-member price)

$25.00, a minimum suggested donation for non-Alliance members, (a tax-deductible gift) per adult participant, or collect a minimum donation of $25 through pledges. However, non-members can become an Alliance member by donating an additional $25 (or more!) for a one-year Alliance membership ($50.00).
