Enjoy a guided hike and introduction to snowshoeing with local experts along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail at Hartman Creek State Park. A winter's day hike encourages health and resilience. Nourish your body and soul with some fresh-air time outdoors, even during the cold wintery days of the year.
Warm your hands at the post-hike bonfire and enjoy homemade lunch and treats locally sourced. Snowshoes will be provided at no cost if needed.
Registration closes on Monday, February 16, 2026 or when the event reaches capacity. An event email confirmation will be sent with final details to all registered attendees on Tuesday, February 17.
Trailtessa [treyl-tes-sah], noun: a woman or girl who gets out on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail to experience adventure, freedom and a new way to be. Trailtessa is an outreach platform hosted by the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
A DNR vehicle sticker is required to enter Hartman Creek State Park. The park office will be open Saturday morning and you can purchase one onsite if needed.
Registration fee is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may have someone else come in your place or we will consider it a donation to the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
